Jesus teaching from the boat on Galilee
The four gospels locate much of the ministry of Jesus in and around Galilee. Mark, especially, emphasises times when Jesus borrowed a boat as a floating seat from which to teach the large crowds gathering on the shore. Meanwhile, the routine of fishing continues.
